OTP/UniCredit Bank - Elevated errors

    An increased rate of errors was observed when processing credit card transactions through the OTP/UniCredit bank adapter. The problem appeared on 04/27/2026. from 22:00 to 22:30 CEST. We informed the bank and provided the necessary information.

    Kindly note that the issue at hand is outside our sphere of responsibility and influence. Our incident response teams are actively working to monitor affected services, and we will ensure to provide regular updates on resolution activities.

OTP/UniCredit Bank - Elevated errors

    We would like to inform you that we have received confirmation from the bank that the problem has been resolved from their side and that normal traffic has been restored after 16:20 CEST.

We informed the bank and submitted the necessary information. The bank is currently investigating the mentioned problem from its side.

    We would like to inform you that we noticed an increased number of declined transactions on April 21, in the period from 18:00 to 19:10 CEST. These transactions were declined by the bank. We received information that they experienced issues with the operation of their vPOS terminal (on the bank’s side).

    In the coming period, we plan to improve the logic according to which AllSecure risk tools function on the Exchange platform.

    The start of works is 01.04.2026 at 00:00 (CEST).

    This intervention is necessary due to the introduction of new rules and payment methods, as well as changes in the way transactions are initiated and executed. Modern payment infrastructure is increasingly moving from an environment where transactions are initiated by users to an environment where various automated systems and AI agents participate in the purchase process. This opens up additional security challenges, especially in the context of validating the intent behind the transaction.

    For this reason, we are improving the existing risk mechanisms in order to ensure the long-term security and reliability of the system.

    Traders who do not currently use risk tools will not experience any changes in their daily transaction processing. For merchants who regularly use these tools, our team has prepared a plan to ensure that the impact of these changes is minimal and controlled.

    Regardless of whether you already use our risk tools, upon completion of the system upgrade, we will contact you with information about new and improved functionalities that may be of interest to you.
