OPEN GatewayOPEN PLATFORM - RESOLVED: Transaction Processing Alert
The OPEN Gateway has recovered from a major incident causing an outage from 12.45 UTC until 12.54 UTC. A secondary incident equally impacting transaction processing was experienced from 13.32 UTC until 13.36 UTC.
The technical teams continue to monitor the environment at this time. The incident seems to have been caused by an unexpected restart of an internal load balancer causing the OPEN Gateway to be unavailable for transaction processing. The customer experience would have been that transactions would not be able to be received by the OPEN Gateway and BIP would not have been accessible.
We apologizes for the impact to our service. The team will continue to analyze the incident and will publish an RCA as soon as possible.
